Peter had been trying to get his courage up for this particular evening for at least two weeks, longer than that if he's honest with himself. He's decided it required a real night out away from the house so the rooftop, where he and Charlie usually spent time, was out. The cafe down the street was out as well. It was getting a little cold for Central Park, which had been his first thought. He'd briefly considered the top of the Empire State Building, but he took her to the tops of buildings all the time. He wanted something different and memorable. Finally, he sent her a text with an address, told her to dress in something comfortable but nice. He'd meet her there.
When she showed up he was there at the front door with a pair of jeans on, a white button down and a dark jacket. He was wearing his converse, bouncing on his toes as he waited for her. The address he'd sent her to happened to be this.

Peter was well aware of the ribbing he was going to take from Barton in regards to this. He'd decided it was worth it.

It will be amusing. "And Pepper's going to have fun with it, too."

He groaned slightly. "Yeah, she's going to have a lot of fun with it. She'll be nicer than Barton though. I think she actually likes me. Barton only likes me when he's annoying me. I think I'll probably go buy a case of red bull and then go ask if he'll help me out with some training."
Barton couldn't, in good conscience, tell Peter no to a training request and hopped up on three or four red bulls, Peter would drive Barton insane simply by existing.

"It all sounds worth it, honestly. All the teasing and looks we're going to get?" She's beyond okay with all of it. She's looking forward to some of it, honestly.
"And...this'll probably get Molly from school to leave you alone." Which Charlie is looking forward to in a huge way.

"Hey," his voice was a little lower, serious. "If I didn't think it was worth it, I wouldn't be asking."
That got a grin out of him though. "Definitely a plus."
